Today I would like us to look at how you can always build yourself up and be positive, regardless of the people around you or the events that have happened and frustrated you.
The secret to being successful in everything you do is having a positive mindset. Once you have negative thoughts, then even accomplishing your desires will be difficult. It is obvious that what we see on the outside originated in us. So there is a great need to build positive thinking in order to bring positive results out of the physical world.
We will look at some of the things that will help us build a positive mindset and if you grow up with some of the reasons you feel are important for adding positive thoughts to you, then add it and put it on paper. You wake up and go through it every morning to remind you of your mission, goals and dreams. Also when any bad situation hits you, remember that there is a place to refresh that mind and get back to your normal situation.
- Get up early
In order for your day to go well while you have a positive mindset is waking up early in the morning. It's good if you wake up at eleven, dawn gives you an opportunity to plan your affairs well. For an employee, complete your duties well without the feeling of running late. Those feelings will not be enough to keep you calm and positive every time. The calmness of mind will help you add value to what you do.
- Have fun and be Happy.
Another important factor is being happy/having fun. Enjoy your day, don't schedule your day as a punishment for you. Enjoying your time with those around you and most of all is accepting yourself. It is important to do this because if you do the opposite, you will end up having a bad day, week, month and year.
- Complete tasks/goals/to-do on time.
Another important thing is to complete your tasks on time. There are times when you write down the tasks you need to do, but you find yourself having trouble postponing and seeing tomorrow or later will be the time to do the work. The problem is that if you haven't finished your responsibilities until you rest, you are not resting peacefully as you have thoughts of not completing what you planned. So you find yourself not in a mood and unable to perform any other activity precisely. No matter how lazy you feel, try to start your work and finish it on time. It will give you motivation to do other things and you will also have the pleasure of relaxing and spending time with those you care.
- Avoid gossiping.
When engaging in gossips, it's hard to be positive as how many people are. Everything you see will be different since your mind is always ready to spend and analyze things negatively.
- Getting enough sleep.
We all have so many responsibilities to meet in a day. These roles make us very thoughtful with our mind and body tired. One of the things that causes negative thinking as you get tired and see life as a punishment. Seeing responsibilities like slavery and make the mind more bored. It is good to get enough sleep to allow the mind and body to rest so when you wake up, start a day with a new mindset and body refreshed.
- Find time to congratulate yourself.
We have often longed for the praise of others when we have done good things. It's a good thing, but we forget to congratulate ourselves on completing our daily tasks. When you congratulate yourself, you motivate yourself to accomplish the other things you have set for yourself. When you promise yourself a gift after you accomplish something, you give yourself the urge to focus on what you are doing. So you get a positive feeling in accomplishing, like the will to fight what you set yourself.
- List your tasks by day and do them based on time.
So many people in this world have been so busy that you can be frustrated if you just live their life for a day. One of the ways to reduce the heap of activity in your mind, is to put it on paper. Write your activities on a piece of paper and give the amount of time for each activity in front of you. In doing so, the mind becomes in a better condition to relax and complete the task at hand rather than thinking about tasks that are not yet complete.
- Abiding to your personal beliefs / principles.
Each person has his own personal beliefs or principles that are the source of his daily decisions and actions. It is good to know what your personal basics are and manage them to make you feel good all the time. If you act against your values because of the influence of a friend or group of people then you will have to feel bad for a while. It's not good to betray yourself for acting contrary to your beliefs because of pressure from others or any other reason. This will act as a point of return once you deviate out of focus.
It is my belief that these things will help you/any other in one way or another to build up a positive mindset. Remember that, thoughts or feelings bring about the consequences of what we do and how we act.
